Enid Collins bucket bag with peacock theme. Hopsack textile covered structured leather bag with leather fold over closure and straps, wooden bottom. Front is adorned with gemstones and is handpainted with floral motif and 2 peacocks, left side says "PAVAN", the right side has the initials EC for Enid Collins. Rare large box shaped 60's genuine alligator 60's handbag. Fantastic asymetrical flap closes with a double turn lock at corner, locks self-straighten when opening is replaced over base. Edges whip stitched, handle has snaps to adjust length. Bottom has 4 brass feet to protect from scuffing. 11" wide, 8 1/2" high, 3 1/2" deep. Labeled "Genuine Alligator Made in Florida USA".
