| Rare Salvador Dali print on silk scarf from 1950 created for the International Silk Congress, an post WWII event created to bring together countries with an interest in the silk industry to discuss the future of silk and its uses. Print depicts the egg of a silk worm in the center and a myriad of moths flitting around it, as well as a woman bedecked in moth wings as a gown. During the Silk Congress there was a fashion show featuring silk garments and it is believed this scarf was commissioned by Dali, though research is pending and will be added.
