Shimmering amber colored glass bead covered 20s dress. Golden silk adorned with zig-zag rows spaced widely on bodice and tightening toward hem.....skirt attached beneath bodice is beaded similarly, with angled beads at hips and beads again becoming concentrated toward hem. Bottom of bodice and skirt are sawtooth cut. Top is gently shirred above hips, two long silk sashes come from left hip to balance out longer skirt length on right. Overblouse is higher in back, revealing a silk inset that is left exposed intentionally. Got all that? Click picture to see the details.
Underarms have slight darkening and fabric is weak there, reinforcement will restore it to wearable condition. One small spot on bust, pictured, 3 more tiny dots. In superb, solid condition given its age and weight!

Late 20s to early 30's whole fox body stole with black & silver chain clip under jaw to secure to tail. Two tone reddish brown and silvery white, all legs and tail intact and in superb, supple condition. Back is lined with a black twill weave fabric. Having worked for a furrier for a year I'm confident that this fur was stored well as there is no shedding, no cracking to the hide or dry rot. Mint condition! Click picture for more images.

Elegant vintage 20s dress in beaded and sequined tabard style with unique Egyptian Revival motif. Several sizes and shapes of black heavy plastic medallion beads make up sultry belt-effect detail at waist and all around hemline. Open up sides to hips, sequined balls secure fringed tassles falling to fascinating staggered hemline. V neck in front edged in sequins, rounded in back. A perfect flapper dress!
Overall condition is superb and wearable. A repair made to neckline at point, 2 oval medallions missing from one of the rosettes in center of back. A few tiny holes. The shoulders have been taken up at some point, either as a repair or to shorten. While not mint condition it is superior to many I have handled and is sturdy & wearable as is...an utterly exquisite example of early 20's bead and sequin work.
