Shimmering spruce green silk velvet 2 piece vintage 30's dress with trapunto stitch detailing at wrists and gorgeous rhinestone buttons. Exquisite deep plum silk velvet bias cut vintage 30's dress with sculpted, fantastical peaked sleeves and attached heavy bronzed metal chain with dramatic grape cluster pendant. Matching belt cinches waist, wonderful trapunto tiered stitching adds drama at the hemline. Hooks up back with metal snaps and hooks/eyes. Some repairs made, one at right shoulder, one below waist seam in back center and one seam on shoulder....all repairs expertly done and fall into folds of velvet nicely, but of note. Rich, sumptuous wine silk velvet bias cut vintage 30's dress with high, draped neckline and exposed back above fishtail bustle and train. Tight cowled high neck buttons at nape, back left daringly open above slight bustle where train hooks up into waistline. Sleeves taper at wrists coming to a peak on backs of hand, snapping snugly for fitted look. Zips and hooks at small of back behind bustle. One tiny repair to hole on skirt, small hope at center of right hip in front.... (lighter spots come from the white mannequin reflecting flash). Solid and wearable as is. Ivory silk lining, some shattering toward neckline, the rest intact and clean. No stains, tears or holes, fur supple with no shedding or cracking of hide.
