High waisted skirt section in terra cotta crepe rayon appliqued with cameo deco motif around front of waist, half sash with slide buckle in back. Sheer silk bodice has smocking at shoulders with terra cotta fabric covered buttons, deco design on billowing puff sleeves. Bodice has coordinating rayon slip style lining. Side metal zipper. Very very faint discoloration right at seam of underarm, scarcely noticeable. No holes or stains. By. Exquisite deep plum silk velvet bias cut vintage 30's dress with sculpted, fantastical peaked sleeves and attached heavy bronzed metal chain with dramatic grape cluster pendant. Matching belt cinches waist, wonderful trapunto tiered stitching adds drama at the hemline. Hooks up back with metal snaps and hooks/eyes. Some repairs made, one at right shoulder, one below waist seam in back center and one seam on shoulder....all repairs expertly done and fall into folds of velvet nicely, but of note.
