Amazing maxi length 60's skirt by designer MALCOLM STARR, from a series of skirts done with whimsical felted appliques. This skirt is green gabardine woven wool with red felted bands at top and down center, layered with scalloped pieces and gemstones. Two large pink elephant carry a rider with an umbrella on each side of front. Fully lined. Only label is from a high end Des Moines, Iowa boutique but this skirt is most certainly one of Starr's as it is just like the carousel one more frequently seen available online. Some tiny rust colored spots toward waist in back, one spot rubbed thin toward center of red vertical band.
